Here's the answers to the most frequently asked questions!

Will you have staff on site?

No, the Picklebarn will operate as a private facility allowing a select number of trusted private members to access the courts.

Will you have cleaning staff?

Yes, we will have cleaning staff for the community space, courts and restrooms. It is important that we have respectful members that clean up after themselves as well.

What happens if you have a member that does not respect court time reservations or the facility?

The PickleBarn will reserve the right to cancel a membership should a member not be respectful of the rules and community of members.

Can we play pickleball past 11 pm at any point?

The PickleBarn will work with you on expanding the hours of operation. Please reach out to Peg Schultz via the contact form or phone/text to check availability.

Are members permitted to gather in the kitchen/bar area before or after play?

Yes! This is part of the PickleBarn vision--the area will be inviting and include court viewing areas, family room/bar setting, ping-pong table and four-top tables for playing cards, enjoying a beverage or just socializing.

Are there snack or beverage vending machines in the kitchen area?

No. You are welcome to bring your own snacks/beverages and place them in the fridge if needed. Please be sure to take all of your items with you when you leave. Any food or beverage items left at the end of the night will be discarded.

Are members permitted to bring guests for play at the PickleBarn?

The PickleBarn is limiting membership in order to allow our members to have an exceptional experience and access to our courts. We do recognize that our members will want to play with a variety of players. Guests will be required to create a Guest Profile on Court Reserve in order to play. Members must add the guest(s) to their reservation. The fee will be charged to the guests credit card on file. The charge covers one guest for up to two hours of play. .

What happens if everyone wants the same prime-time court reservations?

The PickleBarn will be seeking members with a variety of preferred playing times in order to lessen this potential issue. In addition, the 6 hour per week and 10 day advance reservations will assist in insuring this does not occur.

How far in advance will you be able to book a court?

The maximum lead time for advance reservations is 10 days. More information can be found here.

What are considered "prime time" hours and how many hours per week are you permitted to book?

Prime time hours are considered to be 4-11 pm Monday-Friday. Many of our current members are daytime players. You may book up to 6 hours of court time 10 days or less in advance. More information can be found on our membership page.

Will there be an opportunity to sign up for court time and let others sign up with you? Or will I always have to bring and sign up my own foursome?

Our CourtReserve software has the capability of notifying other members that you are looking for players.

If I sign up for court time and the other three players are members, do I still need to list them as guests.

Yes--for liability reasons, tracking and statistical purposes we want to be able to see these details.

What is the membership price, are there discounts for paying in advance and do you accept credit cards?
-
We take credit cards for payment through Court Reserve. More membership information can be found on our Membership Pricing page. There are no current promotions for membership sign up.

How will we access the PickleBarn for play if it is not staffed?

When you make a reservation through Court Reserve, you will be assigned a code that will allow you entry to the facility during your designated play time.
